Unfortunately Gérard Krawczyk's Taxi 2 doesn't quite have the same impact as the first film but it's still pretty solid. Again, Samy Naceri and Frédéric Diefenthal work brilliantly together, Frédéric Diefenthal in particular has improved as a comedic actor since the first film. The car chases are bigger and better and with the exclusions of a few repeat jokes and Bernard Farcy's character not being particularly funny, I really enjoyed it. A charming franchise that seems to have gone well under the radar.
