I
Just Want to Kiss You is a great little gem
of a film that came out at a time when British cinema had hit a bit of a rock.
Jamie Thraves is a phenomenal music video director and it is clear here that he
has what it takes to make great feature films given a budget. His talent is
huge, the guy is brilliant. I Just Want to Kiss You is
also, in my personal opinion, Martin Freeman's finest performance. Freeman's
career has gone from strength to strength and I think he gained a lot of
interest after his performance here. It is full of energy and charisma and is
quite infectious. It's a great little slice of a decade I'm very fond of.
