At first I thought TT Closer to the Edge was going to appeal to TT race fans only, with 3D footage of fast bikes and with a few crashes and deaths for the rest of us. Not so, it does contain all of the above but it's fueled by passion rather than what people refer to as Black tourism. Personally I don't understand what goes through the riders head but then that is the point of this documentary. It is intense stuff! It looks beautiful and it couldn't have been written better. Guy Martin was a great choice of rider to follow, he grounds the film but also shows the passions involved. He's as watchable off the bike as he is on. It's a stunning documentary that is well worth checking out!
