Some of the visuals are rather nice with good use of colour and composition. Unfortunately that is about as nice as I can be about Twixt. Said visuals all look horribly digital and do not make up for the terribly self-indulgent and nonsensical story. The acting isn't of a high standard either but I blame the director rather than the actors due to the bad script and dodgy dialogue. The attempts at humour are the final nails in this coffin. What has happened to the man that brought us The Godfather? It's a bit stupid of him and rather too late for him to want to become the next David Lynch!
