If you want mindlessness, expensive CGI effects and soulless dialogue this film isn't for you. It is amateur in many respects but that only adds to what it is, which is essentially a spoof of the old 50's b-movies, albeit with a narrative of acceptance but what a great idea. It is tender and funny and well worth a watch if either appeals to you. If you're after a full on sci-fi spectacular or a themed porn film I suggest you look elsewhere (you dirty monkey). The development of affordable technology has made it possible for many wannabe film makers to make independent film, often at the expense of quality you'd expect from mainstream film productions. This is not one of these films. This is a little gem, destined for cult status rather than mainstream acceptance but that's OK, most of the best independent films do the same. If you're wondering if this film is too 'Lesbian' for you to handle, punch yourself in the face for thinking such nonsense and just sit back and enjoy (you silly sausage).
