This film is only slightly more fun than gouging out one’s own eyeballs and chewing on them. I'm not sure anyone enjoyed the original to the point that a sequel was warranted but then again, Christmas seems to turn people a little a funny. Strangely, the kids seem to have been replaced with better looking younglings for the follow up, something that would become a trend in the series. Dean Cain remains in Christmas movie hell but only he can get himself out of it (there's a screenplay there..). This franchise should either be neutered or be put to sleep. Casper Van Dien seems to be the next creditable actor to fall foul of the Christmas movie, he's no Orsen Wells, but he's better than this. However, having Paris Hilton as a Dog was ingenious casting. Avoid it like it's left over Turkey in February.
