Four Brothers
Dir: John Singleton
2005
**
I liked the idea but I'm not sure John Singleton executed it as successfully as he could have. It got a bit silly in places when it could and should have been a little bit more of a 'Who done it' rather than a dumb revenge film. The lead characters where painted as hot-headed hoodlums one minute and then master detectives the next. A little more of the Terrence Howard storyline would have improved things in my opinion, his character opened up the story and then went AWOL up until the end. And as beautiful as she is, I'm not sure what the real point of Sofía Vergara's character was?
