Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is just as good as its predecessor in my opinion. It was always going to be tough making a sequel that was somehow different but still about food, at first I thought they'd made a mistake by making said food come to life but it didn't take me long to change my mind. It's the silliness and fun that really make the film, the almost enforced curricular moral guidance that come with animated films is kept to an acceptable level and like the first film, the animation is unique and special. Shame Mr. T and Bruce Campbell didn't return for their voice talents but that's just me being nerdy.
