Gokiburi, or Cockroach, starts off as a cross between a Shunji Iwai film and a Apichatpong Weerasethakul film, with a slight hint of Kar Wai Wong and then descends into Gaspar Noé music video on speed (but without the naughty stuff). Clear as mud. For my Money, Will Sharpe is a director to look out for - not interested in his acting though. Script, direction, cinematography and editing are brilliant. Quite brilliant for a debut short film.
