For the sequel, Mike Myers had to up the ante and go bigger. For the third film the same rule applied but I think they went a little too big and forgot about the jokes. It's all well and good to have every actor working in Hollywood make a cameo appearance but if it's not very funny, what's the point? There is only so many times you can tell the same joke, turns out that three was the limit. It's not all bad but it never came close to the greatness of the first two films and it was for the best when all involved decided to call it a day on the franchise.
