After the fairly decent Spider-Man 2, everyone had high hopes for this film, especially when the villains were announced as Sandman (an old favorite among fans) and Venom (A fairly new character, loved by the hardcore). The fantastic looking poster and trailers were released and looked great too. Unfortunately, it turned out to be all gas and no fire and possibly the biggest disappointment in comic book/Superhero adaptation history. I'm not even going to get into that dance scene. I did like this Bruce Campbell cameo best of the trilogy though!
