I suppose there are plenty of crap Christmas films to choice from, it's only fair we have a few crap Easter ones too. However, totally copying every crap Christmas film's story-line is incredibly lazy and more than a little dreadful in this case. Santa should sue and it's not just the baby Jesus who wept, this film is the epitome of what is wrong with modern animation. But..'It's for the kids'. No, it's a money making scam that is using your kids against you (financially) and ruining their imaginations. It's a shame really because the CGI animation against the real life footage is really good but when Russell Brand is voicing, the story involves a TV talent show format and 'The Hoff' is playing himself, you know it's time to switch off and read your kids a book instead.
