My first thoughts when coming across 2011's Gnomeo & Juliet for the first time were ones of shear uninterest. I then saw the trailer and was convinced that I was mistaken and shame on me for judging a book by its cover. Alas, the trailer worked on me once again, I was tricked into seeing a terrible film. And it is terrible. The minute long trailer is really the only good thing about it, it is just for kids although they would probably find Shakespeare's version far more entertaining.
