I Love You, Man
Dir: John Hamburg
2009
***
John Hamburg's 'Bromance' comedy I Love You, Man has its moments but there really isn't that much to it but Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are both very likable and are obviously friends and this makes it quite appealing to watch. It's basically a nice idea but it feels like a story has been invented just to string a load of buddy scenes together, it's not all bad but I'm being generous with my star rating. I really do hate the term 'Bromance', as if two men have never been friends before. It's okay but given the choice, me and my best mate are much more likely to sit down and watch Bill & Ted together.
