Green Zone
Dir: Paul Greengrass
2010
**
Paul Greengrass has evolved into a director who now does action when he really does drama much better. I think he was at his best when he directed Resurrected in 1989, I can't help but think he should have kept what made that film great in mind when making Green Zone but then I guess it didn't make as much money. Green Zone is good but we've seen it all before and it will become just another forgettable film of its kind. Sadly, for me it is evidence of a good director folding to the machine, the greedy producers and the spoon fed public. If it means money to fund a great thriller that he's more than capable of then great, but I'm still not going to buy it.
