The element of shock and surprise is no longer fresh with the second Hanzo film; Hanzo the Razor: The Snare, so they do the only thing they can and crank up the naughtiness. The story is a little more rounded too with Hanzo kicking a little more bottom than in the first film. Hanzo's self torture as means of self-purification is broadened within the story, it still doesn't justify his actions against women, but they now enjoy a glass of sake with him after each 'interrogation'. An authority you don't want to mess with, unless you want a good shafting that is.
