Ian Fitzgibbon is no Martin McDonagh, in fact he comes across as more of a poor Guy Richie but without the camera tricks with his bitterly disappointing 2009 comedy thriller. It's a tiresome, 'seen it all before', waist of good actors, waste of good money, load of old nonsense. The balance of comedy and drama doesn't at all work and it is no where near as black/dark a comedy to be taken seriously or find funny. How many script reviews did they have or did they just go with the first draft of everything and start shooting? No where near as good as it may first appear.
