Teenage Hooker Becomes A Killing Machine (AKA Killing Machine)
Dir: Nam Ki Woong
2000
**
Teenage Hooker Became a Killing Machine (also known as Killing Machine) had a great concept. It is gratuitous, a bit deprived, exploitative and graphic. It's an old school Manga comic (one of the adult ones) come to life but without any structure or as good. I once read a piece by a critic who compared it to the work of Shinya Tsukamoto. I bet Gee-woong Nam loved that, it is completely untrue though, he only wishes he was as good. It's just so amateurish, it looks like a bad film student film. When you make a 60 minute film seem like it's hours long, you know you've done something wrong.
