The Wedding Date
Dir: Clare Kilner
2005

The Wedding Date has a shoddy story, awful performances and a script that sounded like it was written by a 14 year old boy in love. It's quite strange that in its attempt at romance (what with the wedding setting and all) its almost too obvious and almost parodies what it is and then becomes something unrecognisable, something unrelated and unrealistic. It's a rom-com gone bad, as so many of them do. Adams, Messing and Davenport hang your heads in shame, you're better than this. However, Mulroney, Sheffield and the ever awful Sarah Parish, I expected no less. If you're going to never watch a particular film, make it this one. It is as romantic as a broken Ankle.
