Shark Attack is a terrible film. It stars personal B-Movie favorites; Ernie Hudson and Casper Van Dien but both are barely keeping their heads above water. Shark Attack was the first in a long and popular stream of Shark films, pretty much none of them are any good but they got better because of one key decision; They stopped taking themselves so seriously. People want gore and scares, Shark Attack delivers none of these. You didn't see much of Bruce the Shark in Jaws because it added to the tension, you don't see much of the shark here because the one they have looks terrible. You need at least one really good attack scene to make a half decent Shark film and I'm afraid Shark Attack doesn't even come close to having one.
