I hate the way Ryan Reynolds talks to his daughter Abigail Breslin in Adam Brooks's 2008 romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe. I find people who talk to their kids like this pretty hateful and that's pretty much how I feel about most of the characters Ryan Reynolds plays but this one in particular. Most of the characters are likable, particularly Kevin Kline's but Ryan Reynolds is so vacuous that I felt myself hoping that the film would have an unhappy ending for him. It's fairly horrible and is best avoided.
