A tricky and quite odd subject in many ways, Chris Rock charms his way around 'The big question' quite well and it all turns into a bit of fun in what is basically an exercise in men vs. women rather than an exploration of the importance of hair in black culture. Probably for the best really, it is an interesting cultural lesson but it's Chris Rock's humour and the funny people he interviews that make it worthwhile. This is its main strength, it is universally amusing, I enjoyed it quite a lot considering I'm balding quite rapidly.
