There is something quite odd about Street Kings that I can't quite put my finger on. I did like it and I thought it was better than many films in the genre, there is something quite quirky about it but I'm not sure if that's not just because Keanu Reeves's performance is so bad (or did he play the character the way it was intended? I'm not sure). I'm really not sold on David Ayer's films but I found Street Kings to be his least offensive thus far. For the five minutes of screen time they had, I was very impressed with the rap stars turned actors 'Common' and 'The Game'. They were two scary dudes. I actually rate Common quite a bit, I don't know his music but I think he's going to go far in the movies.
