Howling: New Moon Rising (AKA Howling VII: Mystery Woman)
Dir: Clive J. Turner
1995

Just when you think the franchise couldn't get any worse it does, magnificently. What the hell was Howling: New Moon Rising all about? I'm still not sure. Apart from the fact that this film has next to no Werewolves in it at all, it also has no story. Clive J. Turner's character died three films ago but here he is again with no explanation. Everything that supposedly happens we see in an odd sort of flash back in the last ten minutes of the film, which leaves an hour and twenty minutes of line dancing (I'm not kidding) and dodgy bar jokes told by real Barflys. Seriously, the people in this film aren't actors, they are drunk people in a bar, that's not me being judgmental of people's performances either, they were real drunk people. I'm not sure they were even aware they were in a film. Avoid at all costs. It almost makes Creepshow III look like an absolute masterpiece.
