Luc Besson productions are either hit or miss and unfortunately, and surprisingly considering Pierre Morel's Taken and District 13, From Paris with Love is a big fat 'Royale with Cheese' miss. It's action packed as you'd expect but it's not particularly funny, it's not very well acted and the story isn't at all up to scratch. It's all the same action sequences but just in a different order.It's a bit of a mess really and not much fun to watch, utterly charmless and fairly forgettable. It's hard to believe it came from the great Luc Besson.
