I have a bit of a love/hate thing going on when it comes to Manga/Anime, I find that no matter how impressive they are visually, it's always the same cliched story-lines and characters. Not here though, Makoto Shinkai's She and Her Cat is absolutely sublime and his style is very unique. His attention to detail is perfect and the story is wholesome. Visually it is Manga at it's best but with the heart of a Studio Ghibli production. It's absolutely perfect and pretty damn faultless, Shinkai is an animator to look out for, I love everything he does.
